Common questions

Does it need a battery to work?

No. It runs from solar and grid with no battery attached, and you can add a 24 V bank later for backup through outages.

Can I connect a generator?

Yes. The generator gets its own dedicated input, separate from the grid connection, and the inverter switches between sources automatically.

What happens when a motor starts?

Start-up surges are covered by 2 times peak power for 5 seconds, and the switchover to backup takes less than 10 milliseconds.

Can the system grow later?

Yes. Up to 9 units run in parallel, and built-in grid feeding exports surplus solar with monitoring. For a 48 V system, see the 6.5 kW model.
