Common questions

Can I start with one cabinet and add more later?

Yes. Up to 15 VELOCITY cabinets run in parallel, so a site can start at 16 kWh and grow to 241 kWh without replacing anything already installed.

How long will the battery last?

The cells are rated for 8000 cycles at 80% depth of discharge. That is more than 20 years of one full cycle per day, and the unit carries a 5 year warranty.

Is it safe to keep indoors?

Yes, in a clean and conditioned space. The chemistry is stable LiFePO4, and the cabinet has a built-in aerosol fire extinguishing system with continuous BMS monitoring over RS485 and CAN.
